These terms cover therewithfriends.com as it exists right now: a page that describes an unreleased app and collects email addresses for a waitlist. They are not the terms for the There app, which will have its own when it ships.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and creates no account, no contract, and no obligation on either side. It doesn’t reserve you a spot, guarantee access, or promise a launch date. We may email you about availability and nothing else. You can be removed at any time by emailing us.

Please submit your own email address. Adding someone else’s is not okay, and we’ll delete entries we believe were submitted without consent.

What’s on this page

Everything here describes software still in development. Features shown in screenshots or copy may change, be delayed, or be cut before release. Nothing on this site is a commitment to ship any particular feature.

Our stuff

The There name, logo, copy, and design on this site belong to us. You’re welcome to link to the site or share it. Don’t copy the branding or pass the design off as your own.

Acceptable use

Don’t attack the site, scrape it in bulk, submit automated or fake signups, or try to reach data that isn’t yours. We rate-limit and filter submissions, and we’ll block traffic that abuses the form.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We don’t promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from using it or from a waitlist email not arriving.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top reflects the current version.
